Stinklings

This project is an album cover illustration for the Stinklings podcast.

As a lover of fantasy literature, chances are good that you once wrote some really, really bad fantasy yourself. Tolkien, Lewis, et al once haunted the Eagle and Child pub as a group of writing enthusiasts who called themselves the Inklings. But they didn't just read each other's writing—they also liked to make fun of bad writing! We aim to keep that tradition alive, where we study really really bad fantasy so that we can, maybe, just maybe, figure out what not to do. We don't want to be jerks about it, though—we want it to be a fun environment where everyone can feel comfortable and welcome—so in a show of good faith, Season 1 is all about one of our founder's very own terrible fantasy novel, writ at age 12.
